Don't be afraid; get Durty! This" mud season" beer by Smuttynose Brewing brings a heavy hop and malt flavor. It is a hoppy brown ale that comes in at 8.4% ABV and 97 IBU. This is a heavy hitter for getting over the cold and ushering in spring.

This week the guys try Rhye IPA, the new 6 Pack offering from Smuttynose Brewing Company.  With 7.7% above and 89 IBU's this one brings the  bitterness an the booziness these guys usually like. Will these flavors come together the way they expect?

This week the guys got together and drank Firestone Walker's Double Barrel Ale.  This English Pale Ale, brewed in Firestone Walker's Firestone Union barreling system, is a very smooth and sweet special bitter. This brew offers a change of pace of the deliciously hoppy Union Jack and Easy IPA the Beer Friends can usually be found drinking.
