Tuesday, February 5 - Stout Fest! @ One Mile House, Manhattan: So we've been told that some groundhog somewhere woke up and saw something which apparently means that spring will be arriving soon. Then we woke up this morning and it was still ridiculously freezing out. The only real cure for winter cold doesn't come in the form of a hairy, overhyped rodent, but rather in the form of a bold, dark brew: the stout.
The One Mile house will be warming you up tonight with an impressive list of stouts to stoke that fire inside. There will also be hearty food pairings to go alongside the big beers you'll be putting down. Check out the list:
Goose Island Bourbon County Stout
Ballast Point Sea Monster
Great Divide Espresso Yeti
Oskar Blues Ten Fidy
New Holland Dragons Milk
Southern Tier Choklat
Emelisse Coal Scotch Aged Imperial Stout
Goose Island Nightstalker
Founders Imperial Stout
The Perfect Crime Smoking Gun
Brooklyn Black Ops
Hoppin Frog B.O.R.I.S. the Crusher
Alesmith Speedway Stout
The One Mile House is located at 10 Delancey Street between the Bowery and Chrystie Street in the Lower East Side neighborhood of Manhattan.
