New York City Craft Beer Events for the Week of December 2, 2012

Graham

Tuesday, December 4 - Tuesday Night Tastings: Victory Brewing Company @ Bierkraft, Brooklyn: Tuesday Night Tastings are a staple of Bierkraft's existence and this week they are bringing in Victory Brewing Co. from Pennsylvania.  Expect your usual go-to's, seasonal favorites and some rare big ones.  RJ Ober from Victory will be on hand to walk you through the pours and as always, Tuesday Night Tastings are free and get busy so you should get there early.

Bierkraft is located at 191 5th Avenue between Union and Berkeley Streets in the Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn.

Wednesday, December 5 - Flight Night: Green Flash Brewery @ Sycamore, Brooklyn:

Flight Night, huh?  How have we not thought  of this previously.  Invite a brewery in and feature their best brews in a single flight - genius.  Pure brew-tastic genius.  The only way to make it better - invite San Diego's Green Flash brewery and feature their four finest hop-tastic brews.

West Coast IPA

Cedar Plank Ale
Grand Cru
Green Bullet
Now that's just flight-tastic.
The Sycamore is located at 1118 Cortelyou Road between East 11th Street and Westminster Road in the Flatbush neighborhood of Brooklyn.
Wednesday, September 5 - Tundra NY State Beer @ Jimmy's No. 43, Manhattan:
Organic breweries are out there, but we  often forget about them.  They haven't really stood out.  Well, a brewer in Stamford, who grows half his own hops and grain and is the only brewer certified to sell his beer at the NYC Greenmarkets is trying to change that.  Head on over to Jimmy's No. 43 to try out Tundra's Brown Ale and Red Ale and get a taste of what real hand crafted, organic beer tastes like.
They'll also be serving up meals made with Mother In Law Kimchi  all night.
We love Kimchi.
Jimmy's No. 43 is located at Downstairs 43 East 7th Street between 2nd and 3rd Avenues in the East Village neighborhood of Manhattan.
Thursday, September 6 - Lagunitas 2012! @ The Gate, Brooklyn:
The holiday season is filled with important traditions:  christmas trees, menorah lighting, quanza quanzaing.  What about inviting Lagunitas into your craft beer bar every December in order to feature their amazing craft and provide gallons of brew for quenching public's thirst?
DayTime IPA

Brown Shugga
Undercover Investigation Shutdown 2011
Cappuccino Stout 2011
Doppel Weizen 2011
Farmhouse Saison
Waldo's Special 4/20 Ale
Imperial Ale
Wet Hop 2012
Cezech Pils
The Hairy Eyeball (cask)
Now that's a tradition worth repeating.
The Gate is located at 321 5th Avenue at 3rd Street in the Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn.
