Tuesday, October 23 - Tuesday Night Tastings: NY Dark Ales @ Jimmy's No. 43, Manhattan: It's that time of year again where dark ales that warm us against the cold fall wind are coming back into style. New York is packed with breweries that create these delicious offerings and this Tuesday night Jimmy's is inviting you down to their cavernous bar to check out the range of styles. Get there right at 7:30 if you want a spot and as always the tastings are only $10 and led by a craft beer expert.

Tuesday, October 23 - I Love NY Beer Month: Brooklyn Tap Attack @ The Spring Lounge, Manhattan:
This week's installation of I Love NY Beer Month will feature the offerings from one of Brooklyn's favorite breweries, the aptly named Brooklyn Brewery. They'll be serving up a nice list of regular Brooklyn brews, seasonal specialties and some rarities so make sure you stop in a few times this week (it starts tonight) in order to try them all. They will also be serving up spicy Italian heroes from Graham Avenue meats.
Brooklyn Brews: The Defender, Fiat Lux, Blast, Mary's Maple Porter, Brooklyn Oktoberfest, Post Road Pumpkin, Sorachi Ace, Lager and Pilsner.
The Spring Lounge is located at 48 Spring Street on the Southwest corner of Mulberry in the NoLita neighborhood of Manhattan.
Wednesday, October 24 - Left Hand Brewery Night @ The Stag's Head, Manhattan:
One of Colorado's favorite breweries, Left Hand, will be joining the Stag's Head for a sure-to-please Wednesday night event. They'll be serving up several draft lines while handing out free fall snacks around 6 pm.
They'll be pouring: Chainsaw, Octoberfest, Polestar Pils, 400 lb Monkey, Thai-Coffee Infused Milk Stout and Stranger.
The Stag's Head is located at 252 East 51st Street between 2nd and 3rd Avenues in the Upper East Side neighborhood of Manhattan.
Wednesday, October 24 - Stone Brewery Night @ Top Hops Beer Shop, Manhattan:
It seems appropriate that a bar named "Top Hops" would take serving hoppy beer very seriously. And it appears they do. They've invited one of SoCal's hoppiest breweries to pour a bunch of draughts for your hop-tasting pleasure. Stone is bringing their collaborations alongside their usual suspect and rarer releases. Get there early to try them all.
