BFF4: Blue Bracket Round 2

Beerfriend Paul

The next Round 2 bracket voting coincides with the NCAA Final four match ups.  It is purely coincidental that the voting for the Blue bracket opens and that I have Kansas and Kentucky winning tonight. The # 1 seed in this bracket Founders Canadian Breakfast Stout is definitely one of the favorites to win this entire tournament but the road will not be easy.  It's second round match up is #9 seed Ballast Point Sculpin IPA and it will not go away quietly.  This is a great Round 2 match up that could change the face of the entire tournament.

A great #5 vs #4 match up with Three Floyds Oak Aged Dark Lord Imperial Stout against Hair of the Dog's Adam from the Wood.  Adam from the Wood beat a tough opponent in a BFF4 veteran Troegs Nugget Nectar while the Dark Lord blew out Surly Brewing Company Darkness.  Which barrel aged beer will make it to the Sweet 16 in this years tournament?

Hill Farmstead is making some noise in this tournament with it's second brew in Round 2.  Everett Robust Porter comes through defeating a tough opponent in Eastern Shore Brewing's Duck Duck Goose.  Its opponent is Deschutes Brewery The Abyss which had a strong win over a good Alpine Beer Company Bad Boy.  Can the northeast  favorite Hill Farmstead be able to take the west coast strong hold Deschutes?

The upstart Minneapolis Town Hall has brought a strong contender to the BFF4 with Masala Mama IPA.  It had a close victory in Round 1, and it now faces a very popular Ithaca Beer Company Brute in Round 2.  Will an East Coast bias put an end to this Midwestern run?
