New York City Craft Beer Events for the Week of November 20, 2011


Happy Thanksgiving Week to all you Beer Frienders out there!  There are some excellent craft beer happenings this week to help you celebrate America's favorite holiday. Monday, November 21 - Pretty Things Pint Night and Vinyl Club @ The Double Windsor, Brooklyn:

The Double Windsor will be pouring pints of Jack D'or from 8 - Midnight and the perk?  You get to keep the Pretty Things pint glass.  Sounds like a pretty sweet thing. They'll also be slinging 5 song sets on the turntables.  For your Monday night dancing pleasure.

The Double Windsor is located at 210 Prospect Park West on the Northwest corner of 16th Street, Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn.

Tuesday, November 22 - $10 Tuesday Night Tastings @ Jimmy's No. 43, Manhattan:

Looking for a way to learn about a new to the scene Massachusetts brewery by trying a whole range of their beers and getting schooled by some of the most expertise beer minds in the city?  Jimmy's No. 43 $10 Tuesday Tastings featuring Clown Shoes brewery sounds like the best bet.

Wednesday, November 23 - Thanksgiving Eve @ Craft Beer Bars, NYC:

Wednesday night before Thanksgiving - arguably the biggest going out night of the year.  You have some choices.  1) Pack yourself shoulder-to-shoulder into some 4 floor Murray Hill pseudo-sports bar with some choice individuals hailing from one of NYC's many suburbs pounding yellow-water and jager bombs (also yellow, just less watery - in a worse way) - OR - 2) Enjoy yourself by heading to one of the city's many craft beer spots where the atmosphere will be happily festive, filled with like minded beer loving people and serving up the finest liquid you can imbibe alongside some of the best bar food the city has to offer.
