And I'm back. Freshly returned from California and the short, but excellent brewery tour this Beer Friend embarked on (You can find Day 1 and Day 2 already published, Day 3 is coming soon!), I'm ready for some New York City craft beer events to get back onto East Coast time and state of mind. Tuesday, July 19th - $2 Sixpoint Can Night @ The Double Windsor, Brooklyn:
If there's one thing we love more than anything else here at the Beer Friends it's good, cheap craft beer. If there's something we love more than that - it's cheap Sixpoint craft beer. The Sixpoint Brewery's softball team has been making it's home at the Double Windsor this season and this Tuesday is there last game. They'll be celebrating by giving the bar a ton of Sixpoint cans - The Crisp, Righteous Ale, Bengali Tiger and Sweet Action will be on sale for $2 a can while supplies last.
And if you're not feeling the cans, or just want to try something a bit above the ordinary (although nothing Sixpoint could quite be referred to as just ordinary) then they're also pouring drafts of Gemini IPA, Autobahn Double IPA, Brevity Belgian Wit and the Belgian IPA.
It appears that if you're a bar then the Sixpoint softball team is the team to sponsor.
The Double Windsor is located at 210 Prospect Park West between 15th and 16th Street, Park Slope Brooklyn.
