Tuesday, March 1st - Six Point Craft Ale Tasting at $10 Tuesday Tastings @ Jimmy's No. 43, Manhattan: You know what would be awesome?  Tickets to an exclusive Sixpoint Dinner  on Monday night where the chef's at Jimmy's No. 43 work tirelessly to create dishes that pair perfectly with two new pours from our favorite Red Hook Brewers - Sixpoint Craft Ales!  Well, they're sold out.  Completely.  Sorry guys.  But since you (and us) love Sixpoint so much and Jimmy's No. 43 knows this, they are making this Tuesdays $10 Tastings a Sixpoint feature.  Come try a few Sixpoint pours including...Time Out Porter - an English and American hybrid porter.  Sounds delicious.  Thanks Jimmy's No. 43 for remembering those of us who love Sixpoint, but didn't get tickets to your awesome Monday night dinner.

Wednesday, March 2nd - New York Beer Night a.k.a. George Keeley's 13th Anniversary @ George Keeley's, Manhattan:

We all remember the beer bars that helped us grow to love craft beer.  For this Beer Friend it was the Ale House in Binghamton, NY.  We also remember the beer bars that kept that love alive.  For this Beer Friend it was George Keeley's on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.  Join Kelso Brewery Wednesday in helping George Keeley's ring in their 13th Anniversary as a great New York City beer bar.

George Keeley's is located at 485 Amsterdam Avenue between 83th and 84th Streets, Upper West Side, Manhattan.

Thursday, March 3rd - IPA Night @ Bierkraft, Brooklyn:

Well, someone's week just got made:  Mine.  If you hadn't figured it out by now I'm what you'd call having an IPA Dependency.  Put hops in something and I'll drink it.  Seriously.  Bierkraft will be filling 7 lines with their favorite IPA's.  They will also be tapping two casks - Kelso IPA and Green Flash's West Coast IPA.  I would warn you and say that you're taste buds should be terrified, but mine aren't.  They're hop-addicts too.

Bierkraft is located at 191 5th Avenue between Sackett and Union Streets, Park Slope, Brooklyn.

Friday, March 4th - Blood for Beer @ Kelso of Brewery, Brooklyn:

Despite our love for craft beer, which one could say has negative (or positive from other perspective) affects on our blood, we still love helping others by occasionally taking a day or two off from drinking and giving them a pint or two on us.  A pint or two of our blood that is.   Kelso of Brooklyn Brewery hosts a quarterly blood drive and this quarters drive is happening this Friday.  Donate a pint of your blood and get a free pint of craft beer at participating craft beer bars around the city.  Participating bars include Waterfront Ale House, d.b.a, Brooklyn Bowl, Brazen Head, Dean St., Hanson Dry, Bierkraft, and Brooklyn Moonshine.

And when I say a pint or two, I really just mean A pint.  Not two.  Two would make you woozier than a pitcher of barleywine on an empty stomach.

Kelso of Brooklyn is located at 529 Waverly Avenue between Fulton Street and Atlantic Avenue, Clinton Hill, Brooklyn.

Sunday, March 6th - The Brooklyn Booze Experiment @ The Bell House, Brooklyn:

If there is one thing that the Beer Friends love as much as craft beer, it's great food...made with craft beer.  The best underground chef's of New York City will be showcasing their best "craft beer" dished this Sunday at the Bell House in the Gowanus neighborhood of Brooklyn.  Expect delicious meats, breads and desserts that are flavored, spiced and scented with not only craft beer (although expect a lot of it in the food and on tap) but with other types of booze as well.  This sounds like a delicious experiment in drunken delicatessenating.

The Bell House is located at 149 7th Street between 2nd and 3rd Avenues, Gowanus, Brooklyn.
